In philosophy absurdity refers to the fundamental conflict between humans' desire for meaning, order, and purpose in life, and the universe's apparent lack of inherent meaning or rational structure. Beyond this existential condition, absurdity manifests throughout our society and daily lives in many different forms.
It seems to pervade our decisions ranging from small insignificant ones to the global and generational. What bewilders me is that we are often keen to point out these contradictions, but seldom use them to guide our actions.
Even more strikingly, many of us choose to live despite apparent life’s absurdity. Or at least those absurd things that can be defined as such based on our current knowledge. Pursuing goals that we believe in seems to be a more powerful force than logic.
In this project I attempt to explore absurdity of our lives. It is set in natural environment as both life and its absurdity are derived from the nature itself.
